In her time outside the gym, Vivian loves to be with her husband, Jon, and children Jon Gabriel and Julia Ann. Her interests include traveling, movies and the beach. |

 | Courtney Baldwin General Program Instructor Courtney is a former gymnast who began coaching for SCATS four months ago. She works with the Mighty Mites and Junior Academy, and recently opened a Take 2 class.
Favorite part of the job: "Spending time with each child and teaching them new skills so he or she can go home and say, 'Look what I learned!' "
Outside of the gym, Courtney's hobbies include horseback riding, dancing, and reading. |

 | Cindy Domercq General Program Instructor Cindy has been coaching SCATS' youngest children for 16 years! Cindy works with Toddlers, Mighty Mites, and special needs children. She is also our Birthday Party Director.
Favorite part of the job: "I really enjoy watching all of the children grow and the excitement in their faces when they learn a new skill. The silly things they do to make me laugh are what have kept me here for 16 years."
Cindy's outside interests include spending time with her husband and three children, going to the river, Sea World to watch dolphins, and snorkeling in Cozumel. |
 | Trevor Gardner General Program Instructor A former SCATS gymnast, Trevor competed through Level 5. He started coaching over a year ago and currently works with Junior Academy and Academy.

 | Shannon Hong Team Coach Shannon has recently become part of our staff. She comes to us from Cal State Fullerton where she was a coach after retiring from collegiate gymnastics. Shannon is coaching our women's competitive team and Advanced Junior Academy.
Favorite part of the job: "I love seeing how excited the kids are about gymnastics, the smiles on their faces, and how a simple 'high five' can mean so much."
Outside the gym, Shannon enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding, traveling, fast cars and photography. |
 | DeEtte Kirkconnell Customer Service/General Program Instructor DeEtte began coaching about 1 1/2 years ago and works with the Mighty Mites and Junior Academy. She is also one of our Camp Co-Directors. De Ette takes advantage of the on-site training provided by SCATS and continues to use what she learns.

Outside the gym, DeEtte enjoys taking care of her family and dogs, exercising and traveling. |
 | Elizabeth Mello General Program Instructor Although never a gymnast, Elizabeth has a love of children and an excellent way of teaching. In addition to running our Holiday Camps, she teaches Mighty Mites and Junior Academy Girls.
Favorite part of the job: "Seeing my kids improve and learn new skills."
Outside of the gym, Elizabeth stays busy with her four kids, family and friends. |
 | Joel Nguyen General Program Instructor Joel has been working with SCATS for over 5 years. Formerly a gymnast, Joel has a genuine love of the sport that is evident in his teaching.
There is nothing in the gym that Joel cannot coach - from Mighty Mites to Tumbling and everything in between.
Favorite part of the job: "Seeing the kids finally learn a skill they've been working so hard on. And kids are funny - they make me laugh!
Outside of the gym, Joel has a great time riding his bike at the skate park or anywhere else that's exciting. |
