Our SCATS compulsory girls were out in the Valley this past weekend, competing at Gymnastics Olympica in the “GO USA Fall Compulsory Invitational,” their third meet of the season. Our littlest team girls made a BIG statement in SoCal gymnastics with their awesome performances. SCATS dominated the meet from start to finish and brought home the hardware to back it up!
Both our Level 3 and Level 4 squads won FIRST PLACE TEAM honors at the meet. This was no surprise, as these girls, together, earned 38 top 3 placement finishes across all 4 events and an additional 11 in the All Around for a whopping 51 medals including their Team Gold!
Special shout-outs to our Level 3 Event and AA Champs: Elizabeth, Hazel, Oly, Scarlett, and Alexis, who pulled a “clean sweep” with gold on each of the 4 events AND the All Around, and Reese who completed the meet in the top 5 AA with her highest score yet of her first competitive gymnastics season. WOW!
If that weren’t enough, our Level 4’s had fantastic results too, which earned them the Team Title to match their younger SCATS Sisters. Congrats to our Level 4 Event Champs, AA Champs and medalists: Abigail, Taryn, Kaylee, Reagan, Ananda, Gillian, and Willow…EVERY GIRL IN THE SQUAD!
What a fantastic competition for our girls and a great 3rd meet of season. We’re all proud of your hard work in training and competition alike. We look forward to seeing our girls keep the momentum at State Champs. Go SCATS!
