Congratulations to SCATS Level 10, Emily White, who has just signed onto a full ride gymnastics scholarship at Arizaon State University!

Emily and her family have been a part of ours here at SCATS for 14 years this year,  having started off with us in 2005 at age 3 in our Mighty Mites program!

After continuing gymnastics through her elementary school years in our recreational and developmental programs,  Emily found that she truly loved the sport and wanted to challenge herself in competition. Her first competitive experience was actually within our in-house GYM Team program, wherein her work ethic would have her thriving and exceling, as well as catching the attention of our Jr. Olympic Girls Team now-Head Coach, Shannon Hong.

Emily would go on to compete very successfully as a compulsory then optional gymnast from the local to the national stage. She would win several State and Regional Champion Titles and medals in her 9 years within the Junior Olympic program, including a silver medal on beam at Western Nationals as a Level 9.

Emily has ascended to the highest level (10) of the J.O. program here at SCATS, but her hard work will continue to pay in spades as she continues her gymnastics journey alongside her academics in the NCAA sphere. ASU is lucky enough to welcome her on as their newest Sun Devil next fall, as they were one of five universities vying for Emily’s attention, but not nearly as lucky as we have been to have her as part of our family at SCATS for so many wonderful years.  We couldn’t be more proud Emily, and we wish you all the best on the road ahead!
